Network Marketing - 6 Tools of Change

Success in network marketing demands the development of your own leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop others as leaders. The most challenging part of the business is working on you. Below are 6 powerful tools to implement that will skyrocket your personal development and, in return, drive you on the path of success:

1. Identify qualities of a successful leader/business partner – Examine the short list to see which qualities are ones you possess. Then, go on to identify those qualities that, if further developed, would enhance your ability to attract others:
Disciplined, Charismatic, Willing to sacrifice for the Future, Inspirational, Enthusiastic, Persistence, Compassionate, Teachable, Committed, Takes Initiative, Ambitious, Positive
Then, create a structure for developing yourself:

2. Chose a mentor or coach: When Olympic athletes put themselves in training to develop their skills and improve their performance, the first thing they do is hire a coach. Likewise, as you develop yourself in any areas that will contribute to your business-building success. It is imperative that you select one or more people who will champion your efforts, provide you with valuable feedback, and serve as additional resources for increasing your business success and personal growth.

3. Make a list and work on it daily: To begin, select 1-5 qualities which you will develop. List those qualities in as much detail as possible. Review this list regularly and read it before you engage in each conversation with others.

4. Keep a journal: Purchase a bound notebook. Write in it all areas you plan to develop to make you a more powerful communicator, sponsor, enroller and so on. Start today, and record all your conversations on a daily basis.

5. Three way calls with your coaches: An excellent way to get feedback on how others perceive you is to have a third party listen to your conversations with the intent of giving you constructive criticism.

6. Put yourself into a personal development: Stepping into the leadership of a rapidly growing networking organization demands that you increase your effectiveness with people. Read books on how to improve your communication and people skills, listen to audio tapes or CDs and attend courses to expand and develop your skills.
